Our Legacy of Purity and Health
Our roots run deep in Indian soil. For decades, our forefathers toiled under the sun in Rajasthan’s and Haryana’s villages, cultivating the land with natural methods and a reverence for the environment. This legacy of purity and health has been passed down like a precious heirloom. We learned to respect every grain, every drop of milk, and every ounce of ghee. It’s this heritage that forms the backbone of Khejari Farms. We carry forward the wisdom of our ancestors, ensuring that every product we offer is something we’d proudly serve in our own home, just like ghar ka khaana (home-cooked food)

Why 'Khejari'?
We named our venture after the Khejari tree (Prosopis cineraria) – a tree that is the lifeline of the desert. The Khejari tree is the state tree of Rajasthan and stands as a resilient guardian, symbolizing endurance and cultural strength. It thrives in harsh conditions yet gives nourishment and shelter to many. In our culture, this tree is more than a plant; it's a symbol of life, resilience, and purity. By choosing the name Khejari, we pay homage to our Rajasthani heritage and to the values this kalpavriksha (tree of life) represents. Just as the Khejari braves the desert to provide sustenance, we aim to stand strong in today’s industrial food jungle and provide pure nourishment to our community.

From Farm to City: A Personal Journey
Our founder’s story comes full circle. Growing up on a farm, he enjoyed natural, fresh foods. But after moving to Delhi for studies and work, he realized how hard it was to find the purity we once took for granted. The milk lacked the taste of fresh doodh, the ghee had lost its traditional aroma, and store-bought oils felt overly processed. Over time, his health and energy began to reflect this shift. A conversation with his brothers in the U.S. hit a nerve — fresh, organic, farm-sourced food was easily available there, and people truly valued quality. “Every weekend, people here visit farmers’ markets,” his brother shared. That moment sparked a thought: why should Indian families struggle for pure, traditional food in the very land of Ayurveda and ancestral wisdom? It became his mission to bring clean, wholesome, and heritage-rooted food back to our homes.

Pure Products, Traditional Methods
Driven by this inspiration, Khejari Farms was born with a clear mission — to bring back the purity of food our grandparents once enjoyed. We started with what we knew best: wood-pressed oils and A2 bilona ghee, made on our farms and by trusted partner farmers. Over time, our range has grown to include cold-pressed mustard, coconut, and sesame oils, as well as grains, pulses, fruits, and our signature A2 Desi Ghee — all delivered straight from our farms to your kitchen. We stick to traditional, time-honored methods. Our oils are made using wooden ghanis (lakdi ghana), without heat or chemicals, so they retain their nutrients and natural flavor. Our A2 ghee follows the bilona method — curd is hand-churned into butter and slowly simmered to make ghee, just like it used to be in our grandmothers' kitchens.
